Questions You May Have
Natural fibers are actually easy to care for and only require washing once or twice a year to refresh. Soak your capelet, wrap, cowl, hat or mittens in warm water (sink or bathtub) with just a few drops of mild detergent or wool wash.
Allow to soak at least 15 minutes (but it's also ok to leave for hours!). Drain and gently squeeze (don't wring) out excess water. Roll up in a dry towel and press if you'd like to remove more water.
Then lay flat to dry. A warm iron may be used to smooth any wrinkles after your garment has dried.
Most natural fibers have self-cleaning properties and need little washing. 1-2 times a year should be enough to refresh your garments.
The garments and accessories are hand wash only. Heat and agitation in the washing machine may shrink and felt your piece, leaving it unwearable.
The table runners and kitchen towels may be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle with cool water, but they will need to be pressed with an iron to take the wrinkles out. Fringe may plump up as the strands of cotton separate, but pressing with an iron will neaten the fringe.
In most cases wool is very stretchy and will fit multiple sizes. Measurements on most pieces give you an idea of the garment's dimensions. However, if you're interested in commissioning a custom piece to fit your body, please contact us!

Yes, I'm open to taking commissions that still fit into Sundrop Fiber Co.'s general garment style and color choices. We can discuss options and hopefully create something that fits your style too. I do take 50% deposit on all commissions. Let's talk!
